Cherry Star Swan

A lamp with a cherry-red star at its heart.

Cherry Star is a swan-neck mosaic lamp built around a central pink cabochon anchoring a star of cherry red and mirrored glass tiles, set into a dense field of hot pink and magenta beadwork. Hundreds of small beads hand-set piece by piece around the star, catching light in every direction.

Turn it on and the reds glow deep from within like the last coals of a summer bonfire. The mirrored tiles at the center catch the light and throw it in sharp geometric points, and the whole globe reads warm and jewel-toned.

Every lamp in the Swan-Neck Collection is made by hand in Canada — a twisted brass rope stem curving from a footed base up and over the globe, holding it like a lantern in mid-air. No two are cut, set, or coloured the same way. When this one sells, there isn't another like it.
