Sunrise Star Swan

A lamp with the sky just before dawn.

Sunrise Star is a swan-neck mosaic lamp built around a central amber cabochon anchoring a star of cobalt and orange cut-glass tiles, set into a dense field of scattered multicolour beadwork. Hundreds of small beads hand-set piece by piece around the star, catching light in every direction.

Turn it on and the cobalt and amber glow warm from within like the horizon at first light. The star at the center throws its pattern across the wall in soft echoes, and the whole globe reads like a sunrise held in glass.

Every lamp in the Swan-Neck Collection is made by hand in Canada — a twisted brass rope stem curving from a footed base up and over the globe, holding it like a lantern in mid-air. No two are cut, set, or coloured the same way. When this one sells, there isn't another like it.
