The Jade Star Wish

A green star ringed in beads at the heart of a golden globe.

The Jade Star Wish centers on a six-point star framing a ring of green beadwork around a dark center, set into a cream-and-gold field edged with a confetti border of multicolour hand-set beadwork. The globe sits at the base of a tall brass neck that rises to a pointed finial, with twisted brass handles curving down from the shoulders.

Turn it on and the star glows green at the center — the jade ring lights up, the cream field warms to gold, and the confetti border sparkles around the edge. In daylight it reads fresh and rich; after dark it becomes a glowing jade star.
