The Sweetheart Wish

The Sweetheart Wish centers on a round medallion of pearl-white beadwork around a faceted pink cabochon, framed by a ring of magenta and pink glass diamonds and set into a field of red, pink, and multicolour hand-set beadwork. The globe sits at the base of a tall brass neck that rises to a pointed finial, with twisted brass handles curving down from the shoulders.

Turn it on and the medallion glows rose at its heart — the pink cabochon flares, the pearl ring lights up soft, and the magenta diamonds catch fire around it. In daylight it reads sweet and pretty; after dark it becomes a glowing pink heart.
